Visit of Dr. Geissler

There was much to discuss when Dr Geissler, member of German parliament Bundestag for the Coburg district, recently met with the management of ROS GmbH & Co. KG. In the conversation, topics such as the economic framework conditions, the effects of the increased energy costs and the repayment of the Corona loans were discussed. Overall, the MP wanted to get an idea of the general situation at ROS.

In addition, other topics came up, such as bureaucratisation in Germany and also the business behaviour of large corporations towards medium-sized companies like us. The topic of recycling was also addressed; the buzzword "Plastic-free Bavaria" has been circulating in Bavarian politics for quite some time, but the MP wanted to see for himself what the situation is like at plastics processing companies like us. We promised to get in touch with our association, which has been promoting the political interests of the plastics industry for years.

All in all, it was a very constructive discussion, of which we, like all entrepreneurs, will certainly have to have many more in order to place our interests in the consciousness of politicians.
