ROS honours longstanding employees
The ROS GmbH & Co. KG honoured longstanding employees in the last two weeks. Usually these anniversary celebrations are more often, but due to COVID19, they were cancelled. Two anniversary celebrations were held, due to the sheer amount of accumulated jubilarians. ON both evening, about 20 jubilarians were celebrated in the restaurant Kräutergarten in Coburg. Awarded were all employees with 10th, 25th or 40th anniversary and those that retired while working for ROS.
The celebrations took place on 30th June and 7th July. In between delicious food, the career and merits of the jubilarians, as well as some gifts, were presented by ROS executives Claudia Weigelt and Jan Beutnagel. On the first evening, employees from Most were present too.
ROS being a family company was exemplified by the 25th anniversary of Eberhard Ros, grandchild of company founder Hermann Ros. His sister Claudia Weigelt and father Manfred Ros were the first to congratulate.
The celebration of Dieter Ehrlich was spectacular as well. Mr. Ehrlich started at ROS as a trainee in 1973, and worked at his whole life at ROS, minus only some time in the army - in all 48 years.
With Reinhard Fischer, the former factory manager of the site in Ummerstadt was honoured, too. Despite being retired, he was happy to discuss aspects with his successor Mr. Borchardt.
“With these festivities, we want to show our deep appreciation to our longstanding employees for their efforts”, says Claudia Weigelt, acting partner at ROS GmbH & Co. KG. “It took way to long for us to be able to congratulate our jublilarians. So nice, that many accepted our invitation. It has been two wonderful evenings. I hope, they liked it as much as I did.”
