Thermosets are not a long way away from metals.
Not new and still up-to-dateIn the last 5 years, a material that even experienced engineers had so far only heard of underwent a renaissance.: Thermoset material. The material, with its excellent mechanical-, chemical and electrical properties, among others draws people's attention when substituting aluminium- or zinc pressure die castings with economical success. ROS are currently the only company to carry out the multiple punching process on thermosets. It is thus possible for us to produce parts with a very homogeneous material structure and an extremely smooth material density. This makes it possible for us to minimise delays, as well as to acheive a very high dimensional accuracy, and to prevent joint lines in components manufactured by means of this process. Machines with a clamping force of 500 - 3500 kN are suitable for manufacturing parts of a weight of 950g approximately.
